Zinc Medical Recruitment (ZMR) is a system developed by Loopo Ltd a software house in London in collaboration with the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.
ZMR is a specialist recruitment system used to help automate the process of finding medical trainees for specialised roles.
I was brought into this project when it was well established with a huge code base that is very sophisticated and solved a number of challenging problems. I quickly had to get up to speed with the development and start adding new functionality and features quickly and effectively.
Working remotely and with a distributed team proved to a good exercise in team communication and let to a productive use of project management software and team collaboration tools.
