Landmarts is an innovate website that takes buying and selling land to a new level online. With a unique process that mimics the legal system and takes people through the process of buying and selling land.
Taking the role of lead developer and working with an external company for front end development (but not the JavaScript). My role was to manage the project and all those involved while designing and developing the software powers the website.
As the system was based on land there was a strong focus on the integration with Google Maps and innovate controls for searching and filtering the results on a map were developed. This lead to a highly usable and powerful system.
Unfortunately due to unlucky timing Landmarts was developed while property and land was on the rise, when close to deploying the website and launching due to the collapse of the property market and land following funding for this project was suspended and the project is on hold.
