This website

This website is my longest on-going project. It's changed faces many times but was one of the first websites I've ever made. By my rough estimations this current iteration is the 6th full re-write of the site.

I use this website to learn, experiment and just for plain fun. It's an area on the web that I get to do as I wish and try out new technologies for the sake of it. This version was developer for SiteSprint and runs on on an ubuntu box with Python and Django serving up the pages. The data is stored in mySQL.

I use a number of open source apps and have some custom apps to in this site. Much of this I plan to rip out and make more re-usable or perhaps even release the full source for the website.

As a programmer and developer when working on a website I think I can always think of something else that could be added and developed - therefore, this is the one project I will never fully finish, at least in my head there is always room for exploration and development.
