Harmony

This project is partially inspired by django-syncr¹ however with different development requirements it was created to fill this gap.

While still in its infancy the project aims to support many of the different API's that can be found on the web.

The name

The name comes from two meanings of the word 'harmony.'

1. To live in harmony, when a number of different things or beings can work well together. django-harmony aims to do this with different API's and create a similar interface where possible.

2. The musical usage of the word can be described as a number of different sounds creating something that is pleasing to the ear. This fits in well with many of the Django references to music and in particular jazz.

Support

Following is a list of the API's that are currently implemented with brief notes about their completion and status.

• Twitter - Mostly complete, work still needed on the follower relations
• Feed - RSS feeds working, ATOM support pending
• Google Reader - Almost working.
